A fourth injection for the oldest and people with risk factors

The National Health Service encourages everyone aged 80 and over and those with underlying risk factors to take it fourth injection of vaccination against Covid-19. The fourth injection can be given four months after the third injection, but it is recommended to wait at least three months after a Covid-19 infection before getting vaccinated.

It does not matter what type of previous injections were.

The fourth vaccination has been well received in the Westfjords and about 82% Westfjords 80 years and older have received the fourth injection.

Let's vaccinate on June 22

Adults are scheduled to be vaccinated for Covid-19 on Wednesday, June 22. We would like to ask everyone who is interested in receiving an injection, whether it is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th injection, to send mail to bolusettn@hvest.is or call 450 4500 and get registered.

Vaccination of children 5–11 years: June 29

The aim is to vaccinate children against Covid-19 Wednesday, June 29. We would like to ask guardians who are interested in having their children vaccinated to send an email to bolusetning@hvest.is. It is recommended to wait three months with vaccination after a Covid-19 infection.
