Children in grades 1-6. Primary school class in the Vestfjörður health district will be offered vaccination next week. The vaccination takes place at the health centers in Ísafjörður, Patreksfjörður and Þingeyri. In Patreksfjörður, the top grade of kindergarten will also be invited, but the vaccination of that cohort in the northern region is awaiting the first shot. Parents or guardians will need to retrieve a code and accompany their children to the vaccination. Preparations are being made in good cooperation with school administrators and sister institutions throughout the country. More information about all of this will be given later and may change as preparations progress.
