Bjarkarhlid is a collaborative project of the Ministry of Justice,

Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing, the Commissioner of Police in the Capital Region,

Reykjavík City Council, the Women's Shelter, Stígamóta and the Women's Counselor and began working

The goal of Bjarkarhlíð's work is to provide interdisciplinary advice and support, along with education.
