At the FSÍ benefactors' coffee yesterday, a new maternity bed was shown that has been purchased for donations to the FSÍ Memorial Fund for Úlf Gunnarsson fv. chief physician.
Yesterday, a group of benefactors of the foundation attended the coffee and had the opportunity to view the main things that the foundation has received as a gift in the past two years.
It can be said that the collective power of the benefactors was clearly visible as large and noble gifts were presented to the foundation.
The women's associations in Vestfjörður together with a group of other benefactors have made it possible for the FSÍ Memorial Fund to buy a new delivery bed for the hospital's delivery department.
It is especially nice to mention that several children held a raffle to support the maternity ward, and it shows better than anything else how large the hospital's group of benefactors is.
