Vestfirsk society is still showing what it is capable of. Ragnhildur Ágústsdóttir and Guðjón Þorsteinsson came up with the idea of collecting televisions for the institute's departments, as they had seen how much they were needed. They worked hard and collected 10 television sets and two DVD players, which are donated by companies in the area to replace the old equipment that is already in the hospital. The companies are Dress Up Games, Landsbankinn, Orkubúið, Íslandsbanki, VÍS as well as two companies that wish to remain anonymous. Snerpa and Reykjavík Television Center also contributed to the project.
The staff of the institution would like to thank all these people from the bottom of their hearts for their dedication and goodwill towards the institution.
