Facilities for self-employed physical therapists at Patreksfriðir are available from August 2023.
In Patreksfjörður there is enough work for an independent physiotherapist and many opportunities for general physiotherapy, group training and home treatments. The physical therapy facility is on the 1st floor of the Vestfjörður Health Institute hospital. 90 square meter training room with good heating equipment, a good exercise bench and strength training equipment. Three treatment rooms and all the main equipment, including shock wave equipment, short wave equipment, mixed current equipment, laser and traction bench.
Good rental terms available and access to the hospital's infrastructure. For now, there is a part-time physiotherapist at the Vestfjörður Health Institute.
