Vaccination against influenza has now started. Vaccination will take place at the Torfnes Health Center in Ísafjörður and is open every weekday at 11:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:30 from September 22 to October 31.
After November 1, it will be open every weekday from 14:00 to 15:30
Vaccination will take place at other health centers during their opening hours.
It is especially recommended that people aged 60 and over, people with chronic diseases, healthcare workers and pregnant women get vaccinated. These groups receive the vaccine for free but have to pay an entry fee.
It is also recommended that the same persons be vaccinated against pneumonia every 10 years.
