People who seek care at the Vestfjörður Health Center in the near future will receive an SMS with a link to a short service survey after arrival. The goal is to explore people's experience of the service and see what can be improved in the future.

People who have a booked appointment at the health care receive a reminder of the appointment in an SMS. The day after the visit, another SMS will be sent to the same number asking about the service. If people do not have a registered telephone number at their healthcare facility, they can speak to the receptionist and register the number upon arrival.

The service survey is a new way to survey the experience of the services of government institutions. Questions are asked about how the person liked the service, how the staff interacted, about the reliability of the information people received during the visit and more.

The results of the survey will be used to review the services of each establishment and the organization as a whole. The survey will be ongoing for a considerable period of time in order to be able to assess the development and how to respond if changes to services need to be made.

We encourage those who attend health care services at the Vestfjörður Health Foundation and receive the survey sent by SMS to participate and answer the service survey.

More information about the service survey can be found at the Government Council's website.
