Recently, the Memorial Fund of the Fjörður Hospital in Ísafjörður for Úlf Gunnarsson, known as the Þulf Fund, received a large monetary donation in memory of Hildi Svava Jordan, or ISK. 250,000.-
The donor is Hanna Sigurðardóttir, Hilda's mother's sister. Hanna is from Ísfjörður, daughter of Hilda and Súdda (Sigurðar Sigurðsson, a teacher) who lived at Urðarvegi 2 in Ísafjörður for a long time.
Hildur Svava Jordan, flight attendant, Hiddý, as most people knew her, was born in 1947 and raised on Ísafjörður. She always had strong feelings for the town and visited it often after she left home. She died as a result of an accident at the age of 50 in 1997.
