Tests for certificate of being Covid-negative

Upon entering many countries, travelers are required to produce a certificate of being Covid-negative. Tests can often be either PCR test or rapid test. This includes tourists returning home after their wonderful stay in Iceland.

Effective 16th July 2021, these tests will not be available in the Westfjords. These tests are conducted in Reykjavík and Keflavik (and other places) with rapid tests and PCR with low cost and short turnaround time. See both the Security Center (oryggi.is), and travel.covid.is.
