A woman who lived at the Bergi nursing home in Bolungarvík died yesterday, April 19. She was in her nineties and was infected with Covid-19. This is the second death in Berg related to the epidemic.
The Vestfjörður Health Foundation expresses its condolences to the family. We wish the employees and household members a speedy recovery, and we thank the community for their help and goodwill. The home is still largely run by people from the rearguard forces.
