Bookings for March 2024 with physiotherapist Þóra Kristína Bergsdóttir, M.Sc.
Þóra Kristín graduated from the University of Iceland with a B.Sc. degree in physical therapy in 2019 and M.Sc. degree in physical therapy in 2022.
She then worked as a physiotherapist in a multidisciplinary team at the Hæfi rehabilitation center until the end of 2023 and transferred to the Vestfjörður Health Center at the beginning of 2024.
She has also worked as a physiotherapist for soccer and handball teams for several years.
As a physical therapy student, Þóra Kristín worked in various places, including the Neurological and Orthopedic Department of Landspítal, the Æfingastóðin (physical therapy for children), Hrafnistu, Hæfi rehabilitation center, HVest and other places.
She has attended various courses, including on aging and techniques in physical therapy treatment, sports physical therapy, pain education, movement control for the pelvis, scapula and ribs.
She undertakes all general physiotherapy and her main areas of interest are the treatment of chronic pain on the one hand and back and neck problems on the other.

The tariff depends on the applicable tariff of the Ísllands Health Insurance at any time plus an arrival fee of ISK 2350. Iceland's health insurance covers the cost of physical therapy for all health-insured persons in Iceland according to according to the co-payment system.
