About 70 students in a special program in family medicine are currently on a study and familiarization trip to Ísafjörður.
The study day includes micro-courses in minor surgery, orthopedics, ultrasound, arthroplasty and health care in the Westfjords.
In addition to this, the goal of the trip is for the group to get to know each other, but the specialist doctors work all over the country, including one in Ísafjörður.
