We are looking for a forward-thinking, positive and driven individual to work as an Asset Manager at the Westfjords Health Institute in Ísafjörður. We are looking for an individual with knowledge and good experience in a similar position. The Asset Manager reports to the Director of Finance and Operations.
The institution emphasizes professional work practices, operational improvements and employee satisfaction. The Westfjords Health Institute employs about 270 people who provide general health services in the health care, nursing and medical fields. There are health centers in Ísafjörður and Patreksfjörður and health centers in all the residential areas of the health district. Project
- Management of the institution's assets, such as real estate, apartments owned by the institution, vehicles, equipment and other equipment.
- Overseeing the general care of properties and the environment around them.
- Minor repairs and maintenance.
- Information provision and overview of maintenance needs.
- Supervision of indoor garbage collection and disposal.
- Freight and mail transport to and from HVest, as well as domestic transport.
- Responsibility for own fire protection, such as evacuation plans and general safety issues.
Qualification requirements
- Vocational training in related fields or experience in comparable work
- Safety awareness and enthusiasm for improvement work
- Good communication skills and customer service attitude
- Experience in public administration is an advantage
- Reliability, initiative and ambition to succeed at work
- Interest in the development and structure of the Vestfjörður Health Institute
- Icelandic language skills are a requirement
- General computer skills
Salary
Salary according to the current collective agreement concluded by the Minister of Finance and the Economy and the relevant trade union.
