The Westfjords Health Institute in Ísafjörður is looking to hire paramedics for the health center in Ísafjörður.
The Vestfjörður Institute of Health employs around 250 people who provide general healthcare services in the health care, nursing and medical fields. There are health centers in Ísafjörður and Patreksfjörður and health centers in all the rural areas of the health district. Project
Paramedics perform a variety of tasks that fall under healthcare. These include measuring vital signs, spirometry, Holter studies, light therapy, ordering products, disinfecting, interpreting, and more.
Qualification requirements
- Work permit as a paramedic
- Good communication skills, positivity and great customer service
- Conscientiousness, punctuality and independent work style
- Professional ambition and responsibility at work
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team
- Good Icelandic and English skills are a requirement
Salary
Salary according to the current collective agreement concluded by the Minister of Finance and the Economy and the Icelandic Medical Association.
