Vestfjörður Health Center is looking for a service-oriented, positive and independent person to work in the reception at Ísafjörður. This is a 100% job or by further agreement.

The Vestfjörður Health Institute is an ambitious workplace where around 300 people work in four main establishments. At the institution, work is done systematically on good morale and emphasis is placed on trust and positivity in communication. 

Project

The main duties of a receptionist are: customer reception, appointment bookings, answering the phone, providing information, registration in the medical registration system History, receiving payment, settlement at the end of the day, general office work, etcnnur ad hoc projects in consultation with the manager

Reception and telephone answering are open between 8:00 and 15:00, but the organization has implemented better working hours with full working hours reduction.

The main office is in Ísafjörður, but receptionists provide services for the entire organization via telephone, remote technology, e-mail, web and social media. Services are also available at health clinics in the northern region (outposts).

 

Qualification requirements

  • Positive attitude, agility in communication and professional demeanor
  • Matriculation certificate and/or education in health sciences preferred
  • Organized work practices and independence at work
  • Ability and ability to work in a team
  • Good computer skills
  • Good Icelandic and English skills required
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Reception or customer service experience preferred

Salary

Salary according to the current collective agreement concluded by the Minister of Finance and the Economy and the relevant trade union.
