Ísafjarðarbær - and the Westfjords as a whole - is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and it makes little difference which settlement or village people settle in. Rarely, if anywhere, is it so short to go from bustling human life to untouched nature and the possibilities for outdoor activities are countless, whether in summer or winter. The opportunities for outdoor activities are all around, no time is spent traveling to and from work. The children are like flowers in an egg in kindergarten, elementary school, music school, sports activities, high school and even folk high school or university. Plenty of exciting job opportunities for spouses and a variety of activities that require a university education in the area, see for example vacancies on the Ísafjarðarbær website.

All applications will be responded to once a hiring decision has been made.
