The Blakknes shipping company in Bolungarvík gave a new wireless network to the HVest emergency department recently. The new Unifi-type network replaces an old and far too slow wireless network that was no longer able to meet the department's ever-increasing internet connection requirements. It is therefore clear that this innovation has made browsing easier for many who have come to the department. There are two transmitters and they manage to cover the entire emergency department wing as well as part of the maternity ward.
Hörður Högnason, HVest's director of nursing, accepted the gift from Einar Guðmundsson's hand, but the employees and representatives of the organization thank the Blakknesfölläðir very much for the princely gift.
