At residents' meetings held in Flateyri, Suðureyri, Ísafjörður and Súðavík due to the snow floods that fell on January 14, it was stated that work would continue with residents in the area who, among other things, are experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress or struggling with poor health following the events.

A psychologist will assess the situation with the person with regard to ongoing therapeutic work. All information will be treated as confidential.
