HVest's rehabilitation department received a gift from the Oddfellow's lodge Þórey in Ísafjörður recently. It is a so-called flotation or swimming vest, but it facilitates all swimming trips for the disabled as there is no longer a need to hold on to the person or rely on arm pads or other less specialized flotation equipment. It should be noted that the life jacket is also suitable for those who are retraining after an injury.
