The Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Health Institute runs a research laboratory in \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, but only the simplest tests are analyzed in Patreksfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Samples from there are therefore sent to Landsp\u00edtali by flight that leaves daily from B\u00edldudal. The cost of this is considerable, both the analyzes themselves and transportation, at the same time as there is excess capacity for analyzes at \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n<p>The Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Health Institute is therefore open to discussions with anyone who is or has the intention of starting regular trips from Patreksfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur to \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, with the possibility of sharing trips in mind.<\/p>\n<p>Since this has resulted in a change in our working arrangements, the needs are not completely clear and could change as the project progresses. It seems to us that they are preferably these:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The samples must be received on the same day, but it does not matter when within the day.<\/li>\n<li>The samples must be taken to the hospital in Patreksfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and delivered to the hospital in \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/li>\n<li>Trips must be at least once a week. It is not absolutely necessary that there are trips every week of the year. However, they would have to be at least 40 for a new procedure to gain a foothold and start paying off. It is important that there is predictability in which weeks trips are taken and when they are cancelled.
