However, that decision is reviewed daily based on the level of infection in the organization&#039;s district.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those who visit relatives in nursing homes and inpatient units are asked to keep the following in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hand washing is the most important way to avoid infection, and it is also important to use hand sanitizer. Always keep this in mind when visiting.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Avoid all physical contact such as handshakes, hugs and kisses with residents as much as possible.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Avoid touching surfaces in public spaces such as railings and doorknobs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" style=\"background-color: initial; display: inline !important;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" style=\"background-color: initial; display: inline !important;\">Residents of nursing homes are mostly elderly and\/or have various underlying diseases.
