Slowly, the activities of the Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Health Institute are getting back to normal. We are especially pleased that the lifting of the visiting ban on the institution's wards and nursing homes is now approaching. Since the northern region of Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur came out worse from the epidemic, there will be relaxations a week later than in the southern region. <\/p>\n

The visiting ban will be lifted if certain conditions are met and if everything goes well. Residents are also allowed to go on car trips, visit and engage in recreational activities outside the home. Infections in the community and other factors are taken into account during further decisions.<\/p>\n

On Patreksfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, the ban on visitors will be fully lifted on June 2. Until that time, visits are limited and relatives are encouraged to consult with each other about visits, there is no need to make a separate appointment. Further rules and tips have been sent to relatives by email.<\/p>\n

In the North Region; the emergency department at \u00cdsafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the nursing homes Bergi, Tj\u00f6rn and Eyri, the visiting ban will be lifted in full from June 8. During the week of June 1 - 7, three visits are allowed to residents. Those visits are subject to certain rules that have been sent to relatives by email.<\/div>\n

The rule still applies that you should not visit at all if:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. You are in quarantine
2. You are in isolation or waiting for a sample result
3. You have been in isolation and 14 days have not passed since discharge
4. You have symptoms (cold, cough, fever, headache, bone pain, fatigue, abdominal pain, diarrhea, reduced taste and smell, etc.)
5. If coming from abroad, at least 2 weeks must pass before coming to visit<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
