However, children on priority lists must be placed in kindergartens and grades 1 and 2 of elementary schools.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>A ban on gatherings will be based on 5 people (however, this does not apply to families living in the same household).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The number of customers in larger stores (&gt;150 square meters) is a maximum of 30 at any given time.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>People are encouraged to stay at home, maintain social distancing, limit travel and follow the instructions of the authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Workplaces or groups that believe they need an exemption are advised to apply for one at the Ministry of Health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The Icelandic Red Cross provides assistance to people in quarantine and isolation by phone, 1717.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>This measure is temporary, intended to curb the spread of Covid-19. Infection tracking is ongoing and the results of a number of samples that have been taken are awaited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The decision does not currently apply to Su\u00f0ureyra, Flateyra, \u00deingeyra or S\u00fa\u00f0av\u00edk. Children on priority lists in kindergartens and 1st and 2nd grade are exempt from this.
