He has a cand. oecon. degree in business administration from H\u00cd 1992 and an MBA from Reykjav\u00edk University in 2017. He most recently worked as the head of risk and treasury management at N1 hf. and before that as finance manager at Grandi hf.<\/p>\n<p>Eight applied for the position that was advertised at the beginning of the summer, and interviews were conducted with four candidates. Hrannar meets all the requirements set in the advertisement and more.<\/p>\n<p>Hrannar has a job in the next few weeks and will take over from \u00de\u00f3ri Sveinssson, who is retiring after a long career with local authorities and state institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The organization is on the rise, among other things in terms of internal work and morale.
