He takes over from Birgi J\u00f3nsson, who has managed the kitchens of HVEST with great fame and flair for 21 years. Gestur \u00cdvar has been Birgis&#039; right-hand man and deputy for 16 years. He is a meat craftsman and food technician by training, with long and extensive experience in professional food handling, cooking and serving food. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;\">As soon as Gestur is welcomed to a new job, Birgi is thanked for an extremely fun and informative collaboration for 2 decades.
