For this reason, donations to nursing rooms at the Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Health Center will decrease by 28.8 million next year. That reduction will only be met by a reduction in activities, as most of the organization&#039;s expenses are salaries.<\/p>\n<p>In Flateyri, S\u00f3lborg&#039;s small nursing unit has been run for many years in an extremely unsuitable and old building. The department is on the second floor of a building without an elevator and there is a lot of overcrowding. There has been little demand for places there and it has now come to the point that for the longest time there have been 2-3 household members, which means that the department has been very underutilized. In light of this, it has been decided that the nursing unit at S\u00f3lborg will be closed in 2010. <\/p>\n<p>The Vestfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Health Institute will ensure that the residents receive safe accommodation when the home is closed. Consultations will be held with relatives and residents in the new year.
