Bjarkarhlid<\/a> is a collaborative project of the Ministry of Justice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing, the Commissioner of Police in the Capital Region,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reykjav\u00edk City Council, the Women's Shelter, St\u00edgam\u00f3ta and the Women's Counselor and began working<\/p>\n\n\n\n February 1, 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The goal of Bjarkarhl\u00ed\u00f0's work is to provide interdisciplinary advice and support, along with education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n and discussion of the nature and consequences of violence, as well as giving a clear message that violence<\/p>\n\n\n\n will not be tolerated.
