A fourth injection for the oldest and people with risk factors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The National Health Service encourages everyone aged 80 and over and those with underlying risk factors to take it fourth injection<\/strong> of vaccination against Covid-19. The fourth injection can be given four months after the third injection, but it is recommended to wait at least three months after a Covid-19 infection before getting vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It does not matter what type of previous injections were. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fourth vaccination has been well received in the Westfjords and about 82% Westfjords 80 years and older have received the fourth injection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let's vaccinate on June 22<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adults are scheduled to be vaccinated for Covid-19 on Wednesday, June 22.<\/strong> We would like to ask everyone who is interested in receiving an injection, whether it is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th injection, to send mail to bolusettn@hvest.is<\/a> or call 450 4500<\/a> and get registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vaccination of children 5\u201311 years: June 29<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The aim is to vaccinate children against Covid-19 Wednesday, June 29<\/strong>. We would like to ask guardians who are interested in having their children vaccinated to send an email to bolusetning@hvest.is. It is recommended to wait three months with vaccination after a Covid-19 infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
