The Animal Fjord Division of the Icelandic Red Cross presented the health institution with resuscitation equipment yesterday. The device is a semi-automatic Lifepak defibrillator. The device will be installed in the lobby of the health center. The nursing home is staffed 24 hours a day, so the device is always accessible.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sigmundur Fr\u00ed\u00f0ar \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0arson handed over the device to Erla Bj\u00f6rga \u00c1stvaldsd\u00f3ttir, head of department, and Gylfa \u00d3lafsson, CEO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, according to information from Sigmund, there are six resuscitators in the town, three of which were donated by the D\u00fdrafj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Department of the Red Cross:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Hafnarnes (boat)<\/li>
  2. Ambulance<\/li>
  3. The swimming pool at \u00deingeyri<\/li>
  4. Kristj\u00e1n's engine and car service<\/li>
  5. Animal rescue team<\/li>
  6. The health center and nursing home Tj\u00f6rn<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
